How To Break In My New S2k
i was just wondering what you guys did when you guys broke in your cars????? ive heard keep it under 55 for the first 1000 miles and ive also heard to keep it under 3500 rpms. and for the s2k would it be different cause the 9k red line??? thanks in advance.
Your owners manual should tell you everything you need to know but most folks would say keep the revs under 5500 rpm for the first 600 miles or 1000 km or so. Try not to put all this mileage at a constant highway speed. Vary the rpm.
5,500 rpms for the first 600 miles......then i would increase the rpms by 500 for every 50 miles...thats what i'm doing right now
the manual says nothing about mph...just rpms......so just focus on the 5,500 rpms for the first 600 miles.......have fun

Ship your car over and I will break it in for you. I have done it before, so trust me.
