it will work, and may be extremely easy, if not, it still won't be terribly difficult. I have to agree that the AP2 cluster is a very nice improvement, aesthetically and in terms of function. definitely worth it.

finding one will be the challenge I think, unless you know some car folks in Japan, haha. if you do not to difficult i wouldn't think. although seeing an S2000 driving around in Japan is not that common. Atleast not in Osaka and Tokyo.

well, it doesnt have to be japan. can be from europe too... but ya, it would be pretty hard to find one unless you have connections.

im thinking its the same wire harness, but with added wires for the clock and temperature gagues. i dunno if there's anything else that's different.

but ya, this wouldn't be one of those mods on the top of my list... maybe later on. you never know, they might change the cluster again for 08
Well, the clock may just grab voltage internally, but the temp gauge is going to have to have a sensor and a sender, to thats at least two new pins. If there are blanks on the current harness, then it may just be that, but I would bet that it is a different harness altogether.

*EDIT* See newer post located below

Side note...since the mileage is tracked electronically wouldn't the ECU hold the data and not the cluster? Any one know the answer to that? Never been a big fan of cluster swaps due to this and unlike other hondas you can't just swap gauges on this setup.

Side note duce...It seems like I read somewhere that the JDM cluster does NOT have the ability to swap KMH for MPH like the euro and usdm clusters can. Looking to do more research on this but I will be pretty busy until next week to really dig any further on this.

i wouldnt mind having kmh instead of mph, its just something you adjust and get used to over time.
