Couldn't you just use the piece you cut out as the 'insert', and then attach the sunroof rails to that? or did you already mess that piece up when cutting it out?

it's messed up pretty bad, but i suppose I could try. I think I need some help.

Bondo and fiberglass are going to look like total There's a good CF fabricator here in Melbourne you should have look at it.

Not if it is prepped properly and the hardtop painted, it will look just fine.

why would I paint Carbon Fiber?! nope the CF stays unpainted.
