Yeah, the more I look at it, the less that top looks like carbon fiber. I feel so fooled!

I think you can take the piece you cut out, and put hinges on it with a latch. Put the hinges in the back, this way the air will catch the flap and open it automatically.
Now there's a man who knows how to turn lemons into lemon heads.

I know that this is a bit off topic, but Willie I was thinking about a plexiglass bubble on the my OEM hood, sort of like an homage to the new ZR1 Vette's hood. I think it would be great to see the S's engine in its crimson glory. Do you still have the saw or do you think I will need a special blade? Craig saw the pics, and he is so into doing a series of mod's like this.

That's a good idea Billman.

that might just work. I could use velcro straps to hold it down. Some caulk and I would be good to go. The bondo shifted a bit when it cured. Some sanding is needed.

Compisimo thinks it's a lost cause, but I think I can salvage it.

I've got a guy who wants to buy it for $4,300.00 maybe I should sell it, and try another top.

Your thoughts?

You shouldn't have put the saw in the pictures!

I have actually thought about ways to put a power sunroof into an older car. My idea involved cutting the roof off of a Crx si, or 94-01 Intagra (the kind the slides up and out) then grafting the roof into a hole cut into the top. I think it would work and if done right would be pretty nice.
