First and foremost, read your owners manual. It tells you how to break it in correctly.

do a search and u should find plenty on this topic. My method dispenced to me from on high and the college of Car Knowledge says break the motor in hard to the factory stated rpm's by milege and check the oil level often. By hard i mean wipe the motor up and down the revs as often as possible trying to use winding roads with up and down grades to stress the engine in changing conditions. pay attention to shifting especially when new to this tight 6 spd gate and double clutching 2nd and 3rd seems 2 b a good way to breajk in the gearbox safely.
Don't lug the engine at all or shift to such a low gear as to be costing the motor too often. u got to work that bitch 2 a tight seal err excuse me was I talkin out loud

Heh. I wish I had a dollar for every time we read this in everyone's posts. I'd be in Bora Bora...

I think what we need is the owners manual available with a mouse click off of S2ki, then we can say, "click the owner's icon."

I'm outta here...

Don't vtec before 600 miles, can vary the RPMs. Don't stay at a constant RPM for long.
