KenL was (and is) correct. The 19 votes for 170+ are bogus. The car's rev limiter kicks in at about 165mph, regardless of what the speedo indicates.
Also, KenL's comment about gearing and/or larger tires was (and is) correct. Larger tires makes for effectively taller gearing, meaning that the true speed of the car will be higher for any given rpm. That's the only way to get a true road speed above 165mph without engaging the rev limiter.
