doing 150 with the top down is quite a thrill, but hitting a bump at 145 and leaving your seat is not something i'd like to repeat.

With stock diameter tires the rev limiter would hit just before 170. My speedo is at least 4% fast at speed as are many others. Given that the poll is probably a bit exaggerated, and I would guess that even with wind and grade over a true 160mph is rarely seen. As a group we are less reckless than it appears.

125MPH on my way to NOPI Nats. on the East leg of the Power Tour with a group of ricers I had just met. Picture the street race scene from Fast & Furious but now add 9AM commuters, 10 cubic feet of luggage packed in a 5 cubic foot trunk, top down, 3 hours of sleep.
Sometimes I get carried away with myself.
