How hot does your engine bay get?
I was wondering how hot the engine bay gets for you guys after driving for about half an hour. I notice that it's hella hot under there when I would go to the gas station and check my oil level while filling up. My civic was never this hot and since I bought the car used, I just wanted to make sure this was normal. When I pull the dipstick out, I have to hold it w/ my fingertips. Hope this describes it enough. Thanks in advance.

I noticed after taking my neighbor for a ride one time that an hour later opening the hood and touching the valve cover this thing was still really hot . I think with all the revs that kinda makes this car run hotter kinda the same way a turbo car runs hotter so like the turbo car the hotter engine temperatures are harder on your oil, clutch, and other fluids. I guess that is why that so many members of this forum say to keep your fluids changed often.
