How long do you plan on keeping your S2000?
well... i sold my first s2000 after 23 months of abuse to buy what was supposed to be a faster (way way faster) better handling car, but it fell through (Westfield Megabusa kit car)..... so I bought another S2000......
Probably keep this one about the same 2 years as the last one....I have owned about 15 cars in the past 5-6 years, so they usually get beat to hell then sent away

This thread sounds all to familiar
The longest I've ever kept a car was 18 months and that was my Turbo Porsche Slantnose Cabrio. When I bought my S, I vowed that would be the LAST car I ever bought, so even went so far as to buy the 100,000 mile warranty. 10 months and 15,000 miles later I sold it and bought another Porsche. I figure I'll hold onto to this for another 3-4 months and then buy a 993 Targa. The problem is, there's to many nice cars out there without drivers and I want to try them all

I, on the other hand tend to keep cars for a while. I had my last car, a 91 240SX for like 7 years and still do have, although I am planning to sell it. As long as it runs fine I'll hang on to my S2K forever. I can't imagine any other car that gives me more joy when I drive it. I travel during the week and I always find myself craving the sensation you get when you pull onto the freeway and just letting her rip in the high RPMs, there is nothing else like it. True there may be other cars coming out with more horsepower like the 350Z, but I'm willing to bet that while it may be able to out perform an S2K it won't feel the same. It you look at those older roadsters and sportcars from Porsche and Ferrari, it was all about the revs at high RPMs. That feeling of hearing the engine sing at 8,000 RPMs is pure joy!
