How long does the fabric on the soft top last?

Thanks for the information! I guess I'll spend a few bucks to protect the lease car. This is the first car I've leased and I'm paranoid they're going to try to ding me at lease end for stupid crap. I know about the $1500 credit Honda finance offers, but I'm still paranoid.

Another readily available option is the Vinylex from Lexol.
My car is a 2003, I have used lexol and top is as good as new.

The tops that aren't protected start to turn gray. Mine is jet black after 3.5 years because of 303.
