I got one for Xmas and I'd like to know how long it takes to install? Can it be done in under an hour?

Prolene is an old pro at installing those things. I've seen him do it in about 15 minutes at one of the meets.

I got a console cover and a shift boot for Christmas and installed both in under and hour. Follow the directions, and it's a snap!

20-30 minutes MAX... lift edges of console, remove connection for e-brake and remove shift knob, pull radio tray forward... apply leather... now go in reverse..done.

Exactly 10 - 15 minutes if you have all the right tools handy ... Patience and delication are some important factors. Don't force the fragile plastic cover off the centre console nevertheless otherwise it will be a bitch to get that replaced.

It took me about an hour, although I think I was overly cautious removing, filing, picking, poking, and replacing the plastic shift boot cover.

Took me about 30 minutes, but I bet I could do it in 10 now that I know what I'm doing.
