I agree totally, my silver looks ten times better with it on. Not to mention it's keeping all the crap out of the inside of the top.

Almost always use it.

It takes a while to get the hang of using it. Follow the directions on the underside and its much easier. One snap always seems to be hard to get on, but they slip sideways and that's the adjustment I usually have to make.

Oh yeah, don't push on the snaps, if you do, you'll bend the claps and they're very hard to straighten. But never fear a new cover is very inexpensive.

I store it flat in the house or folded in thirds in the trunk. It takes up far less space that way.

If you're going to go out somewhere in public watch the pants. I'm forever rubbing my knees against the tires. That's actually the hardest part for me.

Only other thing is the tabs pop up if its been stored folded too long and its a cool day.

The car looks MUCH better with it on.

Wonder if Rick or Mutz would be interested in doing a tonneau. Honda really could have done a bit better.

Car looks a lot better with the boot on. Do I use mine. NOT!
It's a pain to keep putting it on and taking it off on short drives where I have to put the top up and lock the car.

Moleman, I don't know where you live or drive to but are the neighbourhoods really that bad that the roof has to go up? I leave mine down whenever and wherever I park (unless it's standing in the rain!).

I had some problems at first, but found you need to be sure the inside corners are positioned around the roof mechanism and not up aganst it, once you do that the cover lines right up with the clips. This is right where it begins to bend around the the back of the seats on the inside or front of the boot.Start by doing this and it is much easier. If it is even slightly jammed aganst them it is impossible.

I had zero trouble with the boot from day 1. Usually takes less than 90 seconds to install and the back end never lifts out on the highway. Mine's a MY2001 and someone in an old post said they changed something? Whatever, it looks a million times better with the boot on and I'm sure it keeps more dust away from the folded top.

Maybe any of you guys going to the WLA meet will want to try fitting our "easy" boots or vice versa to see if it is technique or tolerances?

I try to use it all the time especially when I know my top will be down for long periods of time. But short trips, I don't bother using it. Too much trouble for me.....always the last one doesnt want to go in and boot keep popping back out in the back.

I use mine everytime I put the top down. I just don't want dirt all over the mechanics inside there. I dont use the snaps, I just push it down by the snaps and put the little tabs under the back part and away I go, but I have noticed while driving, drivers side pull down snap by the door seems to viberate at a certain harmonic freq an makes this horribly loud noise. Anyone else had this prob?

I don't use the snaps behind the seats either, I'm thinking of removing them because they get in the way!
