It would take a bit more weight to get 400 hp. It took BMW 445 pounds to get a 4l producing 414 hp (although with ecu updates after 2010, many users stated that they were getting closer to 440) from their S65 V8. . Honda did a pretty good job squeezing as much as they did from this engine.

How much lighter could it be, its all aluminum head and block and probably vary comparable to any other all aluminum inline 4. Its a two man lift into the back of a pickup truck, I know that. Its really not that heavy for a entire car engine.

And 17 year bump! Wow, has to be a record!
