How much does a stock 2002 S2000 weigh?
According to the edmunds.com data, it weighs in at 2809lbs (US model). Now my question is, what does that include? Gas? How much? Coolant? Motor oil? Brake fluid? Windshield washer fluid? Does that include the owner's manual? Who produces that number and how do they produce it?
Also, as cars are driven they accumulate dirt, moisture, grease, etc. It's not a lot but it builds up and I'd imagine this stuff weighs a few pounds at the least, which might make a "used" S2000 weigh more than a "new" one.
Has anyone weighed their S and compared it to the factory spec?

When I went to the city recycling and disposal site to dump some old motor oil, they had a scale you drive up on when checking in. I don't know how accurate their scale was but it read 2900 pounds and I weigh 140 pounds. I'm guessing my s2k weighs around 2760 pounds (with a half tank of fuel) minus the three gallons of motor oil that were sitting on the front seat.
My car on corner weighting system:
MY01
no spare
no tools in trunk
half a tank of gas
+8 lb sub enclosure in passenger footwell
+10lb McIntosh amp in rear tool area
+ 4lb larger battery
FR:685
FL:690
RR:718
RL:724
Total weight: 2817
+ my overweight butt (210lbs): 3027lbs
I think the 2800 mark is a fairly accurate weight
