Default How Much is "INVOICE"

If the s2000's invoice was around 29000ish and it is for a 2004 and you put 3000 worth of factory options from the orginal factory. does the invoice inturn change to 32000? or is it still 29000? and does this go for everyother car dealers?

There are no factory options, just accessories.

And no, the invoice doesn't go up like that. The margin on accessories is well over 50% at the dealer. (ie: cost is $100, retail is $200)

Invoice should remain constant. It is supposed to be the price the dealer paid for the car (not including destination fee and holdback for the dealership that is 2% of MSRP for all Hondas). Adding OEM equipment at the dealership such as a wing, cd changer, and front spoiler does not change the "invoice". It simply is added to the cost of the purchase. However, a good negotiator should obtain any add on equipment at cost and have the dear install them as well.

Since I just purchased a MY05 S2000, this type of info is accurate.

if you add optional factory equipment, the invoice price goes up. Adding DEALER options does not change the official invoice price. Granted, dealer options are not free and you'll have to pay the cost on those, too.
