Maybe Greg or someone else knows the salvage value of an S2000. I have a chance to pick up one. Engine, trans, rearend, interior, top, trunk and doors ok. Front, airbags, left side totaled. Only one wheel not touched. Suspension gone. Damage from the front stopped at the radiator. Did I see a post on the other board about salvage going for 15 or 16 grand?? The engine is perfect with about 5000 miles.

The one you are talking about I would bet, given all the severe damage that you mentioned, would go for about 15 grand? I'm just guessing, but that's probably not too far off...

Larry paid 12,000 dollars for this...

Damage to the body includes the obvious front end damage, but the car was spinning around it hit the wall from behind the driver's side on the rear. Front suspension was toast, needed new rack and pinion, as well. In fact, I have a picture of the old rack, it was bent bigtime! Check this out!

But the engine, tranny, interior, top, passenger side rear body panels were just about the only salvagable parts...

My dos centavos...

A quick question...

Anyone willing to sell the dash from the S2000? Im working on a project now and I would really love to have this for testing purposes. Anyone?

Polpstn, I haven't bought it yet.
Greg, Thanks for the info. I am going to bid about $5000 and hope I get it.

Greg, looking at charlotte is just like looking at this one. How much do you think it would have cost to rebuild charlotte? Larry has a body shop so his cost is quite different than yours or mine.

Hey Greg,

I'm assuming there wasn't any damage to the frame of the car. Isn't it near impossible to fix our cars if the frame is bent, due to the unibody construction???
