How often do you change your oil?

between 3000 and 5000 or 4 months and 6 months, this is my second car and it only has 38,000 on it after 5.5 years. i use chvron 10/30 i buy by the case at costco and honda filters.

Every 5,000 km. Maybe I should extend that now cuz you guys are using mileage there... and it's a huge difference.


Always using Motul... damn they're expensive.

I try to change mine every 3k miles but i'm 211 miles overdue from the 3k..ohwell...i use Royal Purple anyways. Nothing but the best for my S.

Well, plenty of people have done an oil analysis on this site. It's proven that changing your oil every 3k miles is a waste of money and time... Especially if you're running a full synthetic.

My point was that even at 5k it may be premature. There is no such thing as a proper OCI. Everyone is different and without analyis, its just speculation

is this still the case for us turbo guys, the TURBO gets extremely hot I would rather have new oil every 3k just in case.........
