Default How To Remove Lower Splash Guard??

So I am installing my injen cai right now just zipping through it.. really not even paying attention to the directions since i have done many intake installs before.. even took the front bumper off etc. etc... I just cannot figure out how to remove the lower splash guard.. it seems there are no bolts or anything on it.. yet it is still "in place in the middle"... i tried yanking it a little... but could someone tell me how to get it off... instructions just say "remove lower splash guard" ... I am sure its the right thing because I see the leg that I need to hack off etc... i just need to figure out how to get it off... some quick help would be appreciated.. I would love to get this thing on in the next hour or two... thanks a lot

There are two bolts in the leading edge in each that have to be removed.

If you have the front bumper off, you don't need the lower splash guard removed. I did the install by only removing the screws on the part of the guard that is under where the filter goes and just carefully bent in down to gain access to that area - bumper stayed on.
