I have a 2001 S2000, and the maintenance required light came on at 30,000 miles. I called the dealership, and they said it was a preprogrammed deal for service maintenance and was linked to the warranty, blah blah blah. I took it to the shop and they got it turned off, just by pressing some buttons.

It's come on again, my husband assures me the car is fine, and I suspect it's another preprogrammed thing. Does anyone know how I can get that light turned off without taking it back to the stupid dealership?
