How to turn off "Maintenance Required" light?

It's different for later years with the oil life meter. For those cars, turn the key on, press the trip button repeatedly until you see the oil life meter, then hold for 10 seconds or until it resets.

thanks for the info, i have been here a while nad had the car since 10/03 and i still can't remember how to turn this off! yeah i have a manual and yeah i have read it, er...sort of glanced at it...and done it so many times before, i change my own oil....so...thanks again, mine came on last week!

I have to do mine every time because the service dept at my stealership doesn't know how. They always change me to KPH instead.
