How will our S do on the road when 2007 comes?
ok, seeing that we have 240hp, weighting at about 1200kg, our car has advantage on our weight, but with a huge disadvantage in power, will our cars be looked down??
when 2007 comes, new GTR is out, new M3 is out, and even now, the new Z06..
all those cars has well over 400 horsepower, and with a couple of mods, it will easily break the 600 barrier...
will oru cars lose its pride? i mean i understand that the s2000 was never meant to be a dragster, but i still want some opinions and predictions regarding the future of our cars~~
and what if we want to fight against those monsters? is there a chance?

the S is already looked down on. it's already overlooked and old news to the fashion edge of the car world. just today, i saw 2 pieces of news that bugged me: porsche says they make the highest hp output per liter in the world (115). they obviously forgot about the s2000. then, edmunds compared the m roadster to the boxster and other roadsters without half mentioning the s2000.
many, many cars are doing sub 5 sec 0-60. the s2000 is not going to be able to keep up with those in straight acceleration. in reality, those people will almost never be able to use the power.
very few to no cars coming out in the near future handle like the s2000 and i don't know any that are equal in the fun to drive dept.
my prediction, the s2000 will be forgotten, lost in the sands on time, but a true diamond in the rough for any who recognize it.
bottomline, it is such an awesome car, but dont try and compare it to any new stuff. no one will understand.

Sure, a Z06 or Cayman S would be nice, but not at 3x what I have in my S2000.

Isn't 2007 the year for the new NSX? You can compare your 400HP+ cars to that one!
S2000 is in a totally different league! You cannot compare it to an Enzo or Carrera GT or McLaren F1 or... You have to compare apples with apples!
