Default How worried should I be?

I saw a car last night parked next to mine that hadn't been there before. I was at work, and a car appearing out there in the lot at that time was odd. I started walking toward my car, and the car started it's engine, and as I continued to walk closer, it's headlights came on, which made it more strange as they were HID lights. I was walking rapidly now, and the car pulled away from mine and headed for the exit. And now the most strange part: It's an S2000 the same color as mine! I changed direction to intercept, but it was too far for me to have even run and caught them. Couldn't even make out if it was a glass or plastic rear window. I went and inspected my car and saw nothing wrong. It was a dew drenched night so I would have seen any little thing on the car if it had been touched. My concern is that the other car was out there with the engine and lights off. This indicates to me that someone was going to get out, or had gotten out and back in. Maybe they were leaving when I came out, or maybe they left because they saw me come out. It's bone stock, so they weren't checking out any mods. And my workplace is off the beaten track, so not like anyone just cruising by on a main road got curious. So. Like I said. How worried should I be? (My hope in all this is that the unknown admirer reads this and says "Hello").

I'd be somewhat worried, if he was an enthusiast he would have waited for you to come out if he saw you coming.

Possibly he was just checking to see what you did to the car, I don't know. Another possibility is he parked there earlier and was leaving. Did you see anyone outside the car? If not then well he could have just been looking.

I had a crappy '85 cavalier at school, this guy with the same car parked beside me, I heard him tell his buddies hey that's a nice car (mine had new paint and stuff), and he said, I'd like his mirror.

I didn't think he would freakin' TAKE MY MIRROR! He took my passenger side mirror, he was so stupid all he did was pry off the glass part so it was useless to him anyways! I couldn't freakin' believe it! Cost for me to replace the mirror $20! ASS!

Well, you said that it was a dewey night....was his car dewey too? Othr then that, I would say they were just checking out your car. Take it as flattery, but make sure you keep an eye on your car. You never know.

Besides, did you ahve a business card on it? I would post this in your regional to see if anyone did it locally
