How you do a burn out??
First off, the people who actually benefit from doing a burnout are not running radial tires. A whole heckuva lot of people think that they will get more traction if they "heat up" their street tires. Not correct at all. And especially the ones who drive through the water. Unless you are running drag slicks, DO NOT GO THROUGH THE WATER OR DO A BURNOUT. Not only is it not beneficial, it's wasteful, and you'll look like a schmuck for those who are "in the know."
But for doing a burnout? Those guys have a little contraption called a line-lock. What it does is lock your front brakes via a little servo, and then you step on the gas. Simple as that. The welfare way of doing it is the whole "hit the brakes, hit the gas" technique, but that'll kill your brake pads/drums, etc. But with the line-lock, when you're done smoking the rear tires, flip the switch and, voila! You're brakes are back to normal.
Save the burnouts for the Camaros. Enjoy the S in the mountains.

im just enlighting them on the how-to. i care not how, when, and what for , and why they wanna know. maybe they are running slicks you dont know. when you are falling off mountains, they will be heating up the slicks on their way to a 15 sec pass.

damn you guys need help...
Rev up to somewhere in the high RPMs (5500+) dump the clutch, the tires should spin, take your left foot and slowly push on the brake while you continue to press the gas. get on and off the gas, like when it gets near redline let off for a sec and then push it again, kinda pumping the gas, with your left foot on the brake to keep you still. when you decide you have done enough, let off the brake and push in the clutch.
done.
