Gotcha, but since he implemented it and just didn't test it 2 years ago. It is probably safe to assume that he has tested it since, and would have complained if it didn't work.

Sorry guys I missed this thread reappearing after so many years. Not only does it work, but I still have the same felt in there from 2 years ago! Granted I probably should replace it as it is now pretty warn, however, it is still doing the job. No complaints on this very cheap and very easy fix.

I'm 5'8" too and have a problem with the seat belts. I only use them with the top down so I don't get a ticket. I don't get any squeeking though when I don't use them.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having this same problem with my 05. Does anyone have pictures or a better explaination of rick's solution. I'm having a hard time picturing this solution. Thanks.

DUDE. I have to try this. My belt just started squeaking yesterday and it's been driving me crazy.
