My solution was much simpler. I just rubber candle wax on the section of the belt where it makes contact with the leather. Quiet as a mouse now. The top is another story...

Hey guys, I made up these felts for the seat belt noise when it rubs on the leather seams of the seat.

LOL. The squeak is super annoying. I bought some sheets of felt at Michael's (craft shop) for 29 cents a sheet. It's enough to do probably 8-10 seats. They have tan, black and red, so I bought one of each and keep the extra in my trunk in case another S2k owner I run into wants some. (Just now realized I forgot to look for blue. Sorry, Suzakas.) Really easy fix. I'm glad I read about the seat squeak on S2ki before I even bought my car, so when it started happening, I knew right away what the deal was. S2ki FTW.

I just bought some seat belt shoulder pads and placed them on the belt. Took the belt out of the guide and have the seat belt pad resting on the top of the seat. Took care of the issue on both seats.

I'm 5'7'' and the squeak drove me nuts. It's even worse with Clazzio seat covers, which added more tension against the belt.

My variation of the felt solution = I used one of those circular felt stickers that goes on the bottom of furniture legs. I peeled a layer of felt away (they are pretty thick), colored it black with a sharpie, and stuck it on partially under the seat belt guide. A 60 second solution that works perfectly.
