Default I have a question regarding the CDV...

Hey guys, I'm new here and don't personally own an s2000. However, I was effective enough to corrupt a nissan guy with a ZTT into buying an 05. (he had to buy something as the Z had given up the ghost) Anyways, I've seen very few topics about the delay when getting into gear, especially 1-2 changes, only under full throttle. Someone told me it was a clutch delay valve and that it was done to reduce stress on the driveline. Kudos to honda for saving some of the stresses for such a beautiful vehicle. Saddly though, it's one of the more obnoxious thing I've ever had to deal with when driving a vehicle aggresively (I drive the car quite a bit.) I've not seen much about disabling it or the pros/cons of doing so, assuming it's possible, BUT, I would like any info you guys can give me. Sorry if I could've found that info doing a search or something. Usually, I search forums, but, it's 5 in the morning and I'm about to leave with my girlfriend for college and I just wanted to put this out there while I still remembered to do so. I appreciate any help you guys can offer and hope that I won't be hated too much for my stupid questions and childish endeavours. The name's Nate, and it's nice to meet you all.

Look at this topic and go down to the 'Clutch and transmission stuff" section:
