Default I need help!

Hello everyone,

I have an old 94 Toyota Corolla. Last week it was down because the alternator didn't conserve energy anymore (I assumed). So I repalced the old alernator and put on a new one. But things didn't go the way I expected. The car would not start. It was totally silent when I started it. I tested the batt and the thing was good. So I took the new alternator back to the store to exchange for another alternator. I went home and put it on. Nothing happenned again.

I would bring it to a shop to fix it but the thing is the car won't start.

Any guess, guys?

I've given it up cuz I have no idea what else I could think of.

Any electrical working at all? Could it be the starter?

If it was the starter the engine would sounds when turned the key. Am I right? But it is totally silent. I didn't do any electrical work, just replacing and putting on a new alternator.
