Hi guys, need alittle help from you guys.

Bout 2 months ago I drove to work which is about 6 miles from my house, 3 hours later I went to the car and try starting it and its funny cause I can hear the starter spinning but no signs of the engine tryin to start. So I try it again and again after a few minutes it started. Then today it happened again. Just stop by to get something eat and came out car didnt start. So i decided to push start it which worked. Dont know why this happen every now and then, but wanted to fix the problem before it gets worst.

I recently just replace the starter and put a new optimal battery so thats not the issue. But I was wondering if it could be the flywheel?

Sounds like the starter solenoid does not kick out.....but again, I have no Idea how it sounds. You say the starter spins freely and the engine does not turn over, right?

 

sounds like a starter issue, if you hear it spinning and the engine does not try to turn over then most likely the solenoid is not kicking out or there is an alignment issue with the starter and the flywheel.

 

yeah you can hear like a buzzing sound when push the start button. I'm guessing that's the sound of the starter because when my starter went bad I couldn t hear that sound at all.
