I need a new shift rod HELP!

yeah...i looked up the skematic...the shifter rod will run me about $80...i can swap the srping and all the plastic parts from my current one....works right?? where is the best place to buy the spoon shift knob??

Keep trying. You can do it. next time, just use a drop. don't coat the threads.

it's feally impossible....have tried for two days......gonna use the grinder to cut the top of the rod off w/knob attached....vrahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....lol...then i'll get the spoon one

If you are going to do that,than why not try cutting the shift knob instrad of the shifter?

closing this topic....my friend was able to pop off the knob with some channel locks and i purchased a spoon ti knob from inlinefour.com
