I Used To Hate S2000's
Awesome car. Why do others' S2000s always look better than your own?
I totally agree with Nate's comment that sports cars are about the experience they give you. That's why I bought an S2K. I've owned two Ferraris, a Boxster S, an e46 M3 and two 911s (plus a whole lot of other cars). While many of them were faster and could probably lap a track faster, the feeling wasn't there (well, with the Ferraris ir was, but they're just too damn expensive to beat the shit out of). The S2K gives you that sports car experience, and it's cheap enough to beat the shit out of it, as they say, drive it like you stole it. The car loves it, and that's how you really get the experience.
One thing to add, maybe this is controversial, but I think a sports car needs RWD. I can't think of one true FWD sports car. Any thoughts?

hold on, guys. I did say "most" true sports cars have a four-banger. I had the Porsche flat 6 in mind when I used the word "most".
I classify ferraris and other such wonderful monsters as "exotics" or at least semi-exotics.
The 240Z defies catagorization. It was that good and that much of a break-through when it was introduced.
When you put too much stuff inside a sports car to the point where it needs more than an I4 just to be fun it is no longer a sports car. It's a touring car.

I always liked the S2k but i hate the softop. Once i get a hardtop the car will be perfect IMO (i'm keeping the soft top so i can still go top down if i want later).
Either way, everytime i drive her she puts a smile on my face.
