Default I want Advans!

Sooo, I work at Discount/America's Tire Company, and I can get Advan RGII's at cost. I have the cash and would've bought it today at work, but my parents says NO!

I asked my mom yesterday and she said, "You can buy them if you want to, but you'll lose your spot in the garage!"

Then, I asked her again today. "Mom, can I get wheels? It can be my Christmas and Birthday present!" "no..." says my mom.

A little history on my parents. They're hardcore asians. Saving money and education is FIRST priority. They hate me spending money on my car and have threaten to sell my s2k if I were to spend any sort of money on it. Kinda gay.

I understand where my parents are coming from but, what can I do to convince my parents to allow me to get these wheels? Or am I messed up? I'm aware of the, "You live under their roof, you go by their rules."

I bought it myself and paid it off myself, sir!

Title under my name, and somehow, they're able to bend the rules and sell something I bought! LOL! Only asians...

somehow convince them that it will benefit them

tell them that you'd sell the OEM wheels and send them on a nice vacation

^^

Great idea actually!

I have a guy that wants to buy my AP2 v1's for $300 bucks for just wheels.

My dad needs tires for his truck, I can sell the wheels, and get him tires for CHEAP and he can't complain!

I'm just saying the let you buy it. Instead of going, no son you're buying yourself a stationwagon. What I don't get is if you paid for your car, why can you just buy your wheels too? Anyways good luck, I suggest you just stick to the rules until you move out.

If they won't let you spend your own money on wheels, how did you get them to let you spend your own money on an impractical two-seater roadster / sports car???
