03 would be the best AP1 but it the car is in good shape and it's in your budget then I would do it. Year.....It's not that big of deal.

 

Well you want one just like the one I just bought a couple of months ago. No great pictures as of yet but it's a 2003 Silverstone with a mere 5900 miles. I'm not new to Honda but never really wanted a S2000 till I drove one, a friend of mine once had a Datsun 2000 and that was a fun little car. I had always liked sports cars but never had a "true" sports untill now. Good luck on your search.

 

i would go for a late ap1, 03 would seem good. just remember ur price range and make sure everything is in working order. find the perfect ap1 since its up to ya, mileage wouldnt be a big factor, just get it looked at before purchase
