man that hardtop installation .pdf looks confusing

how much do the dealership usually charge for installation?
It's not confusing at all if you take it step by step. A guy at home can do it in about 2.5 to 3 hours if slightly mechanically inclined. A dealer will charge you anywhere from 3 hours to 5 hours to do this. They may not have ever done it either. Too many stories of botched dealer hardtop installs. I'd rather do it at home and botch it myself.
J/K ................ If you are even slightly "handy", you won't do any worse a job than those guys at the dealer.

That's why I thought a "crazy" idea would be to have a 2-piece HT! Targa anyone?!?!?!?!
I reallly do not think that is a bad idea!!!
How amazingly versatile would that be if you could install a 2-piecer that had a removable targa section?

I am a big fan of this idea, I'm gonna have to jump in photoshop later and see if I can get a feel for how it would look

I among others have been interested in this idea. Let's get it in the works!

See my other thread regarding the 2-piece HT.
