Default Maint. Required light on after FIPK
Hey guys,

Does anyone know why this light is flashing after I did my FIPK install? On the 2nd start up the started flashing. Am I missing something?

not related. maint req'd light tells you when the ECU thinks you need to change the oil, nothing more. this is discussed in the owners manual, and in this site's FAQ, where you can also find how to reset it.

That light comes on every 7500 miles no matter what. I change my oil about every 7500 miles so it's a nice light to have for me.

just clear the light

before you turn the key hold down the trip button and then turn the key hold for about 15sec and it will go away!
