Default idle rpms....is this ok

is it ok for the car to idle between 900 and 1000rpms once warmed up to 3bars? just checking to make sure it isn't too much stress on the engine.

First off, I don't know much. With that said...I believe the car idles just below 1000 rpm. When first started it is higher, but as the car warms up, it idles lower.

When you put the shifter into first, even though the clutch is depressed, perhaps the synchros are still wanting to do their job? My guess...

Once I start my car, I drive it without letting it warm up. I just take it easy on the shifting and don't do hard accelerations. I believe the owner's manual states that you don't need to let the car warm up before driving it.

I always warm it up 1-2 mins before driving.
Since i only get to drive 1 min before hitting the highways.
So i figure it's best to give it a little warm up.
Unless it's 80+ outside heh.

It says that it is not necessary to warm up for more than one minute. The engine, as most others these days, was designed to warm up under load.

This is not recommended as it puts unnecessary wear on your engine.
