If you could build the ultimate S2000....

Yeah, they are fantasies. I know that I would never be able to ship my car to Japan to have the frame modified by Opera, and I know I'll never be able to afford 10s to 100s of thousands of dollars in lightweight CF parts. If you read my post, I made it clear that I accept that. However, it appears reading isn't your forte, since you ignored the valid arguments I made in my previous post and instead chose to imply that I shop at autozone.
Additionally, this is not a "what do you plan to do to your car in the future" thread, it's a "if you could build the ultimate s2000" thread (i.e. money is not a concern). If I had as much money as I wanted, and I had to spend it on an S2000, what I posted is what I would buy.
I agree that cheapo $500 suspension parts are most likely not going to improve upon Honda's design. However, you must be very ignorant if you really believe that high-end race coilovers (Tein, Bilstein, Zeal, etc) are going to make the car handle and perform worse.
If you're going to make a claim that any modifications will destroy the perfect car that Honda has created, at least back it up with facts, rather than sidestepping the legitimate arguments posted here.

Of course you understand that stroking the engine another 0.5L would create a design so undersquare that it probably couldn't rev to 6,000 RPM.
I think they call those F150's.

. I think you have a lot of research to do before you start making all your claims. Sure the car is awesome stock. But anything can be improved upon and with a good sized budget the car be made better performance wise in all categories.
If I could build the ultimate S with the S motor from scratch with an unlimited budget and HRC research time...
Silverstone Silver
AP2
Retractable CF hardtop that fits in the same space as soft top.
CF body panels
Redesigned taller roll hoops with concealed harness bar and concealable harness attachment points
Rework the internals to allow for sustained 9000rpm (9500 would be nice) minimum with the 2.2. 280hp would be nice.
Intake, Header, Exhaust
Keyless Ignition
Variable speed wiper control
Ohlins MCJ coilovers
Steel insert CR knob with black lettering
Tan seats and interior with Muz Mats
Head Unit similar to JVC KD-ADV38 and with HD capabilities
OEM in dash Nav Unit with data logging ability on engine temp, oil pressure, oil temp, etc
I think that'd pretty much be my dream there.

If I could do whatever I wanted to my S....
First I would buy another one, AP2, new and put a thousand miles or so on it.
During that time I would do a hell of a lot of research into suspension parts and spend a few months picking peoples brains on S2Ki to make sure I get a great suspension/wheel/tire combo (tires would probably be racing slicks).
Then I would rip everything out of the interior and remove the soft top entirely and replace the interior with one racing seat on low rails a fire extinguisher system an a custom SCCA spec full roll cage.
Top it with a Mugen CF hard top (as long as we're wasting $$
)
Supercharger (KW High Boost)
Pull out the air conditioner and stereo
A serious clutch and rear end (I won't pretend I know which would work best)
Some nasty high friction brake pads and slotted rotors.
To this end - figure out how people get S2000 painted on their calipers so nicely and do that!
Big wing (once again lots of research for what will work best front and rear)
A truck and nice air conditioned trailer like my buddy has to pull it around in.
Get the car wrapped with some obnoxious pattern with "You just got passed by a Honda
" across the rear and a giant "S" on the hood ->Imediatly nick name it Supercar before I get flamed for it.
Then race it till something brakes or I figure out which parts I need next!
I know, not a lot of specifics... but that would make me happy - and still have my rag top for around town!
