immobilizer? central lock?
i have an ap1 , its very frustrating that i always have to reach over to un-lock the passenger side , is there any switch that u can wire so u can un-lock it like a central locking car? ( i'm kinda confused here)
and i read somewhere the stock s2k has an immobilizer , how does that work? and if i want to put a clifford 50.5x alarm how do i make sure the clifford one works replacing the stock honda transmitter
thanks guys

Double click the unlock button on the remote to unlock both doors.

Double clicking only works when the moon is full and the stars are in perfect alignment.
It takes great powers of concentration and absolute perfect timing to make the 2nd door unlock with the key fob.
I have found that I need to make the second click in synch with the 2nd lights flash. If I miss it by even a millisecond it doesn't work
Seems like a lot of peeps have problems with clicking the unlock button twice. I've never had an issue with this. I click it once, the exterior turn signal lights flash once. I can click unlock again anytime after that to unlock the passenger door.
From what I've read, only N American cars have this stupid double tap to unlock thing. If you can get a Euro model door relay (or whatever it is) it would give you one-tap unlocking of all the doors.
Also, if you just tap slower, both doors will unlock every time - people tend to rush things.
Also, if you install an aftermarket alarm, its fob will unlock both doors at once.

My understanding on the imobilizer is that its a chip in the ignition key and has little to do with the alarm system. If you want a remote start system, your alarm installer will need to bypass the imobilizer. I believe they sell little black boxes that plug into your wiring harness to allow this. all IMO...
