increase the redline?
It appears the HP gains were wanting to keep going up at redline.
Is the drop-off at the end a real drop or cause by the cutoff engaging?
I'm not teeribly knowledgeable about dyno runs so please excuse the inorance(that's why I am asking..)
Thanks

from all the dynos i've seen on our car, the peak HP is around 8200-8300 (somewhere around there), and it drops off pretty sharply after that - with the exception of a spoon header equipped s2000
Well since I replied to a thread about the Turbo Stook by derryck I was speaking of his car in particular.
The dyno sheet shows max 320hp at 8700 RPM, and there is a huge peak there at the end.
What does that mean?

If you'll look at the dyno, you'll also see my car had similar results when it was stock. Of the three different S2000 dynos I've seen done on my same dyno. I believe mine is the only one that peaks so high and doesn't trail off, it was accentuated by the addition of the turbo. I have had similar thoughts in regards to raising redline, it seems fairly obvious that the S (at least mine) wants to keep revving.
