Paul,
When I ordered mine from Belgium the UK price was still 29K and having added the mats, CD and nets it would probably have come to 29.5K whereas my car on the road (including all delivery/resgistration costs, I got it transported back) was 22,250.
However they have since dropped the price to 26K but still its a good 4K saving and yes they do come with the roof cover and yes mines still in the polythene in the garage, its a complete waste of time in the UK, probably good for someone in a hot country where you can gaurantee no rain for a while.
Cheers
Jason

Does anyone know the number for the Betty Ford clinic?
Funny how only a few people know what it is, & how many come up and ask you. It makes cleaning it a slow process. Do owners do it at midnight, when the neighbours have gone to bed?

I think you have described the exact emotions many of us felt when purchasing the car. I dont think I slept well for the few days before I picked it up or the week after. There is a saying that goes something like "The difference between men and boys is the cost of their toys..."
I get the same reaction. Most people have no idea what the car is.
Paul,
I ordered mine in September last year and it was delivered in Feb this year. The price change happend somewhere inbetween. I forgot to add that 22250 also included the win deflector which personally I think is a waste of time, also in hindsight I would not have added the CD player and would have chosen to replace the entire audio system as the CD player irritates me because it won't random across all the CD's and isn't very controllable from the dash switches.
Anyway at last the UK summer is on its way (will probably last a few days!). I drove home from work last night with the roof down and then wen't out for a spin round some country lanes later in the evening. The car feels so much faster with the roof down, I came back via dual carriageway to open her up a bit. I think the wife thought I'd been off to see some flousy when I got back as I had a grin like a cheshire cat.
I parked the car in the garage last night and left the roof down, at 6.30 this morining my next door neighbour was out scraping ice from his windscreen but I just reversed out roof down and heater on and had a very enjoyable blast to work.
Nick, the weather has arrived at the perfect time for you, get that roof down, get those 600 miles out of the way and enjoy!!!!!!!!
