Installing immobilizer in JDM key: restored thread
If any of you seriously want a JDM key give this guy a call
His name is Allen he works at A&J Motorsports in Richmond, B.C. Canada
604-279-0329...
Keep in mind it costed me about $40-$50 and the wait is 4-8 weeks, A&J is a big shop and deals with a lot of JDM stuff.

By the way, you can take the immobilizer out of the white plastic piece. That makes the install easier, as you have a much smaller item to find room for.

I know this is out of the topic but I am just curious.
How does that little plastic 1/8 Immobilizer works?
Is it like a romote control that sends a signal when you squeeze it ?
Remember I don't know nothing about cars.
I am dumb.
thanks

Tedster, my bad for doubting you
. After some reading I realize that you have to keep the green tube from touching the key itself. Removing the green tube from the white plastic does make the job a lot simpler and less cutting as well.
