Lip looks great, I'd put the remaining screws in when it gets warmer too.

Even before owning the S2000 i already knew the OEM lip had to be a standard. I purchased a 03 S2000 a month ago, didn't come with the lip, so i ordered one through Honda. My buddy works there so i managed to get it at a discounted price ($200 off).
I picked up the lip today, very happy about it. I go to install the lip and i noticed i comes with all hardwares, but no instruction. I figured i'd install the lip the best that i can using common sense. I got the lip to fit, but was leaving roughly half of the hardwares out. I said to myself, this isn't good......so i come on S2ki and use the "search" to find out the correct install procedure. Found it and noticed i had done it all wrong.....so i went back out and started everything all over again.
Having the install sheet in front of me helped a whole bunch. Piece of cake. The only thing i left out was the screws along the end of the lip where it attaches to the fender. I got all 7 bolts under the lip, it seems to hold up strong. My question is, do i have to worry about the ends not being screwed in....it was cold as heck out, so i did it as fast and efficient as i could. Anyways, just sharing my experience..

...heres the result

would you mind sharing your discount?

Kinda off the subject, but does your lip match well in shaded areas? I just installed one on my GPW and it only matches the bumper in direct sunlight....Just wondering if I should send it back and try another one....PITA

I have the OEM lip on my GPW '05 and the paint on it is "brigher" if that makes sense than the paint on my car. It's not exactly the same in my case. I installed it on my car that was less than 6 months old at the time and with less than 2000 miles so I don't think paint fade could be blamed for the discrepancy.

It's not too noticeable but certainly not a "perfect match".

In fact, I think I'm the only one who notices it.

Lip looks great.

I didn't think it was too bad of a PITA to install though. Only thing that I messed up with is that I pulled off the black weather stripping and that was a total PITA to take off.
