Does anyone have instructions on how to do this?

I've done a search on the site, and I find a few pictures which appear to have re-located the hood prop to a place directly in front of the fuse box. Is it just a matter of popping the hood prop out of the existing mount and plugging it into the new area? Do we use the existing hood prop or have to get a new one?

It is as you say. Same prop. For the "show" mode.

 

So will somebody please take a photo of where the rod goes and post it here so we can all go try it?

 

Perhaps this photo of the hood prop attached in the rear setting will help. I don't have a close up. The hood stands vertical with the prop in this location. I use it this way all the time.
