no, only if you suck in water with the intake does it void your warranty.

how about if it has to deal with your heater is not getting hot and your temp gauge is rising once in a while

no. the intake or exhaust would have to be the direct cause of the issue. this is per the magnusson-moss warranty act. an intake will not cause your temp gauge to go above normal. neither will an exhaust. at least certainly not in any way i can come up with.

with a 2002, you are due to come off warranty, though.

magnuson-moss DOES NOT APPLY to extended warranties of any type INCLUDING HONDACARE. Thus, if they wanted to totally void your warranty for an intake or exhaust, they can.
