By style, you refer to cosmetics?

^ v1.. has one size tubing all the way though... v2 has two differnt size tubing... larger towards the filter then a smaller one closest to the throttle body.... this is technically supposed to create a vortex type effect and make the air rush towards the throttle body in return making more power... but if you feel like playing an extra $50+ for an extra 1-2rwhp be my guest... the thing that makes the most difference on an intake is the FILTER and always will be....

You don't have to get an intake to use a K&N filter...

And $50 for 2 HP is a better deal than the supercharger...

^ umm supercharger has nothing to do with it.. we are talking about one intake vs another intake...

but even if you want to go with the supercharger.. lets see...
an intake will give you around 5hp for $300
and a supercharger will give you like 100hp for $5000

you do the math.. intake = $60 for 1hp, supercharger = $50 for 1hp.. give a couple here and there... and have your fun...

You originally hinted that $50 for 2 HP wasn't worth it...that's why I pointed out that CAI is more cost effective.

I don't know what price sheet you go by but the AEM V2 is $240 from my local shop(modacar.com) and the V1 is $220.

If 5HP is what you want to go by, that's $48/HP

The Comptech is $5,275 + $400 labor. That's 56.75/HP. Add tax into the mix and the CAI has a $10/HP advantage!
