Default Which intake produces most HP?

Hey guys, Im planning on starting to do mods to my s2k in the next few months. I figure an intake, exhaust and VTec controller would be a good start. I am gonna start with the intake first since i have the top of my stock intake off and i dont want it to get bogged down by the heat in the summer. I was wondering which ones produce the most HP and best sound without coughing up more than $300 or so. So far I really like the PRM intake and the price seems reasonable but Ive not heard much about what it produces. AEM V2 and Injen are on my list as well but ive seen somewhere on here that AEM V2 is pretty good but havent seen Injen mentioned. It will be a daily driver so I dont want to have to worry about hydrolock so thats a concern as well. THanks

I'm not going to tell you which one has more HP to avoid an all out intake war but also take a look at Comptech, J's racing, Spoon, Mugen and Weapon-R

AEM makes the most peak horsepower plan and simple. but the intakes like J's racing, mugen, spoon duct are much better for quick throttle responce.

stay away from weapon-r. their filter element(similar to a sponge) is horrible.

Ok, AEM... check. What about hydrolocking with it??? Dont they make a piece you can buy that catches the water if it gets up far enough? i suppose if so it would be on the V1 and not the V2 as it appears to be 1 piece tubing. I REALLY like that HKS intake but from what i understand they dont make it anymore unfortunately, if i could find one id jump on it. What about Injen, I suppose theyre not gonna be much different than AEM as it looks pretty much the same. I really wish i could afford the mugen but 1k plus extras necessary for the install is just way out of my league and just seems way too much for an intake, tho it was one beautiful piece of work! Where would the PRM intake add the HP at, as it stands right now im leaning towards getting it atm. I honestly cannot make up my mind if i need the HP down low or on the top end, i wouldnt mind getting the car off the line quicker and I suppose J's racing, mugen, spoon duct are ideal for that, but will they cut off power on the top end tho??? I DONT want that.
