Which intake produces most HP?

Mrxpsycho, theres another company that makes one that costs more than the mugen intake, and I cant remember the name of the company, I bet some of the rest of the crew knows what I am refering to. Sorry, I am a newb with the s2000 and Honda performance scene, I moved over from Toyota so I dont know the vendors all that well. Best I can remember, European company, supplies Ferrari with performance parts as well and has a Ferrari for their flash intro. I think the unit itself sold for 2500-3500 for their intake. But it is pretty tight if I must say so myself and you dont have to replace the hood (maybe).

Hehehe, thats precisely what Im doing.
Its a little unusual getting to do this all over again, I remember having to list out my components for the Mr2-T. I know eventually I will probably add a turbo kit to it no doubt, more likely not for another year atleast. I was thinking of adding the intake more or less because I dont want to run into heat soaking in the summer. I think Ill toss up btw exhaust and intake. Nothing like seeing stainless steel in the back tho.

Hey, you guys might want to check out the K&N FIPK Gen 2 for the S2000.

I just picked one up for under $275 shipped on the web and K&N is showing almost a 10HP gain. I read all of the arguements against K&N's filters. I've had them in many different types of cars (1997 Dodge Dakota, 2002 Subaru WRX, 2003 Infiniti FX35, 2000 Honda Prelude) and never had any problems.
The install looks very simple with no cutting and worries about hydrolock. As soon as I get my car back from the body shop, I'll do the install and write up a review.

still lost. i've been lookin' around and i feel like the AEM V2 CAI is gonna be my best bet. as for a SC or TB, not everyone is willing to spend 3-4 grand or have that much money. another question. are carbon fiber intakes better? there are some crazy looking CF intakes, and i'm pretty sure they cost more, but wut are the benefits? more HP? just looks? the newest import tuner has a section where they modded a MY01 s2k, and used the AEM V2 CAI. i'll quote wut they wrote about it.
"After researching many S2000 forums we have yet to get a positive feedback on performance products that make power. But it seems as though AEM has done its homework with the V2 intake system. We witnessed gains of 8.6 horsepower at one point on the rpm band. Although peak power gain was only 2.7 horsepower there were considerable gains at the lower rpm where the Honda needs it most."

I love import tuner...
more opinions please! i want to see wut people think and wut people used on their s2ks...

o yea. in the import tuner, they said the AEM V2 CAI cost them $368.75. i know you can get it cheaper on ebay and i think i saw a GB for the CAI on the GB forum. i guess i would be willing to spend more money on an intake if it is worth it...any pricy intakes out there worth it?
ok. i'm asking a lot of questions, but yea. the spoon carbon fiber air duct. i guess it fits into the stock air box. better than a CAI? mugen intake, i can't find...argh! so many choices...can't decide...
