Hi!

I'm just curious on how many people would interested in the 3mm spacer I have for clearing the AEM CAI with the Comptech STB?

If enough interest is there, I may be able to setup something to purchase.

These are billet aluminum pieces 3mm thick and formed to the Comptech mounting plate. This will relieve the tightness between the AEM CAI and the STB.

I suppose this can work with any intake and STB allowing 3mm more of space. The only thing is that since the plate is formed around the Comptech mount, the plate would show on other STB mounts.
Be aware that I'm not sure if the fitment with other STB's will fit concerning the top bar and hood closed!

Some pics...

With 3mm spacer...

Raise your hand if you're willing to buy this? Should be no more than $20 shipped!
Thanks!

I'm interested eventhough I don't have the comptech STB. I have the MG Racing one and it hits the hose of the intake pipe also.

Does the STB hit the hood liner with the spacer installed? I know the clearance is very tight.

I have the Comptech STM and AEM CAI and have no problems with clearance -- there's about a 1/4 inch gap, which is enough room for vibration variations. Could clearance problems have something to do with mounting or manufacturing variances?
