Interest in shift gate, a la Ferrari
You took my idea!!!! I was just discussing this the other day! I just cant find it towhere the stick "slides" like the older ferraris do. Or R8s. Ours has a very angled approach to it. When you make this, I'll be first in line!
Puddy,
I love your shift gate thingy. I was just looking at it and thought of a way to make it look more "stock." You could find a spare consol cubby slide door thing and cut it to fit over the the gate. Cut the same hole out for the gate and then paint the rest of the aluminum black to match the rest of the center consol. I know its long worded but I'm sure ya get my thoughts on it. Just a thought if you had some time and wanted something to do. Love your work btw. Keep it up

actually my old 308 would shift just fine with the gate removed...but the remote shifter unit does isolate the transaxle and not much movement is translated to the stick itself....however older front engine f-cars had a setup similar to the s2000...just borrow a swb or a gto and see how they did it.

instead of sushi, right?
i think someone should replicate NSX Type-R chain linked shifter boot thingy and retro fit it to s2k and sell it for really cheap.
That might be better.

If people start adopting the term "sushi" "Maaaan that guys car is so sushied-out" when they mean JDM, I'm gonna start bustin' heads.
