My mechanic said that if someone can provide us with what levels are required to pass emissions in CA then we'll do some testing on our end to measure emissions levels. He thinks that if you run a cat (which I'm not) that it should pass emissions without any problem.

Johev, you would be correct. Your header would be replaced along with your CAI.

No ECU changes needed. I'm still using the stock ECU.

Rick... a word of advice. Race gas is your friend, especially the 116 octane that I love so much.

Well, this thread has gotten big! I will keep the board informed with my updates. For now, if you want a turbo kit, Derryck does have a kit out, and from what I have seen, his results are good. If you want to wait for my kit, and information, then by all means, that is your choice. In the long run, I do not think that you can go wrong by supporting the members of this board, that actually own/drive S2000s as opposed to some corporation in Japan who makes parts for JDM cars, then adapts them to fit on ours. I personally would rather have someting made for the way we drive, what kind of gas we have, and all of the other factors that differentiate our cars from the JDM. I appriciate all of the support and information that you all have given, and will be posting my findings as soon as they are more substantiated.
As for California, I am sure we (Derryck or I) can find some way of making something for you guys as well, after all it is mearly a matter of air/fuel, and how much toxic stuff makes it out of the tail pipe.
Everybody stay tuned, because with the resourcefullness (sp?) I have seen on this board, it is only a matter of time before we make someting that is as impressive as the car it is bolted to.
Thanks again
Mark DiGrappa
