haha, That's my video in the first post, woot! Yeah, I've been trying to find a less shaky solution, but I've found other Modifry mount videos that were somewhat better so I think the video of mine you posted in the original post might be from the camera.

[QUOTE=Jano,Feb 20 2009, 10:31 AM] I have the same camera and Modifry's mount and there is no shake.

How do you guys deal with wind noise?

I'm highly recommending taping down the secret compartment lid with painters tape.

I did something similar. I put felt pads on either side of the compartment where it closes against the rest of the console and it doesn't budge one bit, but the mount still shakes like in my video.

[QUOTE=daktruckie99,Feb 15 2009, 08:38 PM] Not sure why that owner had trouble with his Modifry mount.

That video doesn't look that bad (compared to the average posted video) but its difficult to tell what is original video and what is compressed youtube. I know I have video where the shake is much worse with a miniDV. If nothing else, I think the color is off, its difficult to read the course from this video.

I want to get some daytime video with my new HD setup tomorrow, if I can I'll be sure to post it.

Also, the lights have got to make you nervous. Having stuffed my car into a sand dune at an autocross this past fall, I'm a little weary of that stuff.

Last video didn't look bad. About as mine (modifry mount, lumix camera). My local autox site is really bumpy. I think the shakiness is more the surface/suspension than the mount/camera. My track videos (smoother surface, less frequent turns) look a lot less shaky.

I noticed the camera was jumping up and down even before the car started moving.

Did you make those? No offence, they look like door handles!
